The Gates is a townhome community within the Wescott Plantation, representing 114 units. From Wescott Boulevard, it encompasses the first part of Ayscough Road to the stop sign and all of Habersham.
The Gates is also a part of the Wescott Plantation Master Association. Wescott Plantation is a large community located off of Dorchester Road. Members to this Association live inside the communities located behind the first three entrances on the right hand side of Wescott Boulevard, representing a total of 874 homes. It also includes some of the first homes on Ballentine.
The Gates and Wescott Plantation Master Association are a part of Dorchester County and North Charleston.
